Pair of folding chairs designed by C.A Buffington in the 1930s for Swedish manufacturer Gemla in the 1950s. Seat, back and front legs in stained birch with black iron back legs. Very light weight and easy to operate so perfect as a pair of extra chairs for the kitchen, dining room or conference space. They become flat when folded together so they don't take up much space and would be ideal to hang on a wall or tucked away in a closet. Good vintage condition with normal ware consistent with age and use. One of the seats with a few scratches and marks.
