Pair of dining or decorative plates from the "Grand campioni Italiani del galoppo" series designed and made by premium Italian firm Fornasetti. Possibly designed by the founder Pierro Fornasetti. These examples are most likely from between the 1950s - 1970s but are not marked with a year. Each plate is depicting a jockey on horse, framed in the middle, with horse and jockey related items on the outside. The motifs are done in a black/grey print against a white background with a gold ring on the outer edge to frame the whole picture. Overall very good vintage condition with light ware consistent with age and use. No damages to the porcelain.
